Self-custody usually breaks in one of two ways: you lose access to your own wallet, or there's no clear plan for what happens if something happens to you. Seyakin isn't here to replace your wallet, and it isn't a trusted third party that controls your funds. It's a layer on top of what you already use, built to close those two gaps.
Seyakin is built to never own your funds and never move them freely. You stay the owner, through your own wallet and your own Smart Wallet. Seyakin will never ask for your seed phrase, your Secret Recovery Phrase, your private key, or direct access to your funds.
Every sensitive action runs through rules you set in advance and that get checked on-chain.
Seyakin works because each part has exactly one job.
Layer 1, Your Wallet:
Connects and signs the actions you approve.
Layer 2, Your Smart Wallet:
Holds your assets. Always.
Layer 3, GMP:
Enforces your recovery, inheritance, and fallback rules.
Layer 4, Seyakin:
The interface that makes all of this usable.
Your wallet signs. Your Smart Wallet holds the funds. GMP enforces the rules. Seyakin makes it usable. That separation is the point: no single piece, including Seyakin, ever becomes a central point of control.
To be direct about it, Seyakin cannot:
- Read your seed phrase.
- Rebuild a lost wallet.
- Move your funds on its own.
- Change your heirs without your action.
- Bypass the rules in your Smart Wallet.
- Replace a will or legal counsel.
Seyakin isn't a custodian. It's an interface for rules that live on-chain.
Recovery Accounts
A recovery account never receives your seed phrase, and it never becomes the owner of your funds. It only acts within the limits you set, delays and checks included, specifically to prevent abusive or accidental recovery.

Heirs & Transmission
Beneficiaries never need your seed phrase or your private key. They can only claim once the conditions you defined are met.

The inheritance process can never be triggered manually, not by Seyakin, not by anyone. Only your own configured delay decides when it opens.
Fallback
If funds are ever left fully unclaimed, they move to a destination you chose in advance, never one decided after the fact. Fallback is an on-chain last resort. It's not a substitute for a legal will.
Your assets stay inside your own Smart Wallet. Seyakin never holds them. GMP simply adds recovery, inheritance, and fallback logic around that wallet, things a standard wallet can't do on its own.
Seyakin never bridges your funds. They stay on their original network, inside their own Smart Wallet. When something needs to happen across chains, Seyakin only passes along validated instructions, execution always happens locally, through GMP and Safe-compatible modules. Network support expands gradually, only after testing.
Security here is layered too: non-custodial design, a clear separation between interface, Smart Wallets, and protocol, on-chain rules, tightly limited permissions, internal review, and external audits ahead of mainnet. We won't claim zero risk, no on-chain protocol honestly can. Our approach is to find the risks, limit them, document them, and only ship after they're checked.

Seyakin removes real self-custody risks, not all of them. A few things stay on you: protect your wallet, never share your seed phrase, verify every address you add, choose your recovery accounts and beneficiaries carefully, know your delays, and check your setup now and then.
Legal Note
Seyakin doesn't replace a will, a notary, or legal advice. It lets you configure on-chain rules for recovery, beneficiaries, and fallback on assets you self-custody. Depending on where you live, your family situation, and what you hold, you may still want traditional legal guidance to match your local succession rules.
